Summer in Canada

Canada is a very big country, and the weather is different in different places. In summer the temperatures are usually warm, sometimes even hot. Many people go camping or hiking in the forests and mountains. In July and August there are lots of tourists, and cities often become crowded. Some families travel to national parks where they can see bears, deer, and beautiful lakes.

Last summer Anna and her family went to a lake. They stayed in a small wooden house near the water. Every morning Anna and her brother swam in the lake, and in the evening they helped their parents make a fire and cook food outside. Sometimes they went boating and watched the sunset over the mountains. Anna says it was her best holiday ever because she enjoyed nature and spent a lot of time with her family.
