A Day in the Countryside

Last Sunday Paul and his parents went to visit his grandparents in the countryside. The weather was sunny and warm, so the family decided to spend the whole day outside. First, Paul and his father helped Grandpa in the garden. They watered the plants and picked some apples from the trees. Then Paul’s mother and Grandma cooked lunch with the fresh apples.

In the afternoon, Paul and his cousin went to the river. They played football on the grass and then went fishing. Paul caught two small fish, and he was very happy. In the evening the whole family sat together, drank tea, and told stories. Paul said it was one of the best days of his summer.
