A Family Picnic

Last Saturday Helen and her parents went to the park for a picnic. They took a big basket with sandwiches, fruit, and juice. The weather was sunny and warm, so many families came to the park. Helen and her father played badminton while her mother read a book under a tree. Then they all sat together and had lunch on a blanket.

After lunch, Helen and her parents went for a walk around the lake. They saw ducks, swans, and even a turtle swimming in the water. Helen took some photos of the animals. In the evening the family listened to music on the radio and sang songs together. Helen said she wanted to have another picnic next weekend.
