A Visit to the Countryside

Last spring Alex went to the countryside to see his grandparents. Their house was small but very cosy, with a big garden. In the morning Alex and his grandpa worked in the garden, watering plants and planting potatoes. His grandma cooked pancakes for breakfast, and Alex said they were delicious.

In the afternoon Alex and his grandparents went for a walk in the forest. They saw birds, rabbits, and even a fox. Alex took photos of the animals and picked some flowers for his grandma. In the evening the family sat near the fireplace, drank tea, and told stories. Alex thought it was one of his best holidays.
